Have you ever been to a church in Europe where the inside is decorated magnificently with colored glass and elegant mosaic medallions on the stone floors of the grand hall? It may seem a little far fetched to be able to have a few of these little touches inside your own home, but I’m here to tell you that it is definitely possible for you to have your own mosaic medallion just like the ones in buildings built hundreds of years ago.
Unfortunately, it is not as simple as getting out your tool belt and your hardwood flooring tools and carving your marble floors up with a pickaxe. If you really want these things in your home or even outside in your backyard, you will need to hire a stone mason. Many of these professionals can custom make your medallion or glass without breaking the bank. These little decorative touches will be the envy of your friends and neighbors. It will be a piece that will be admired at parties and will give you pleasure when you look down upon it. I know it’s not a traditional decorative choice, but in many houses, they would look great.
